Membership, rewards or payment?
Membership describes an entitlement. A stamp or points balance records progress towards a reward. Recurring billing collects payment. Your programme may combine these, but a wallet card does not automatically provide a billing system or door-access integration.
Compare stamp cards and points cards if purchases, rather than membership status, determine the benefit.

Benefits
List exactly what is included. State booking requirements, guest allowances, exclusions and whether unused benefits carry over.
Validity
Set the start date, renewal rules and expiry. Decide what happens during a freeze, cancellation or failed payment.

A studio with a monthly guest benefit
Suppose a studio offers one guest visit per membership month. Staff need to verify active membership, check whether the visit has been used and record redemption. The rule must also explain whether a booking is required and whether the benefit can be transferred.
